Falling Polar Bears!

I don't think that our PSA was as effective as it could have been.If we would have been able to do whatever we wanted to with it, it could have been more effective. Having a slogan could also make it more effective. For our Re-edits, it would be nice to include a slogan or something that would make people actually want to donate to our nasty library.

I think that our PSA turned out well, but it could have also turned out better. If we would have had more time, we would have been able to spend more time editing and thinking of some more creative ideas. If we do another PSA, we will pick a topic that is more interesting to us and spend more time working on the editing. We will also do more to make sure that it is more creative. The volume could also be something that we could spend more time figuring out!

Our video is complete! Something we want to do is go back and re-edit it so that it's a little more creative and more put together. An obstacle is that our project was cleared off of the MTN computers, so if we do any more edits, we will need to start from the beginning. Our group worked well together which was nice and made the project a lot easier. It also would be cool to do another PSA that is more PSA like!

Blog Entry # 3

The toughest part of our PSA project was working with the sound. In some scenes, we used a microphone and in others we just used the microphone that was built into the camera. When we uploaded the footage onto the computer, we realized that all of the volume levels for each scene were different. The amount of time that it takes to go back and fix the volume levels is ridiculous. I would reccomend using one or the other instead of both.

Blog Entry # 2

To pitch our PSA, we talked about the process we went through from start to finish. We also talked about some of the issues we ran into while filming and gave some suggestions to other groups. It was interesting to listen to other groups, who haven't started their PSA's yet, talk about their plans.

Our target audience for this PSA was students, and I think we were successful in reaching them. We had several setbacks in the final stages of our project, but I think we were able to overcome them. We were also able to learn from these mistakes and hopefully wont have to deal with them again on our next project.
